All Starfleet ships have a dedication plaque on the bridge that says where the ship was built, when it was launched, and who the senior staff involved in its creation were. As an in-joke those names are actually members of the production team. The Defiant plaque reveals that she is the first of her class.  Eaglemoss made a series of replica dedication plaques that can be hung on a wall or displayed on a shelf. Their version measures approximately 8.5" (21.5 cm) across and 6.5" (16.5 cm) tall.
