In the VOYAGER episode 'Drive', Tom Paris enters the Delta Flyer in an interstellar race. He learns about the race from one of his competitors Irina. Her ship is small and fast. It was a modified version of a background ship that Rick Sternbach had designed for the fifth season episode 'Latent Image', which was given a new colour scheme and racing stripes. The model is just under 4" (10 cm) long.
