STAR TREK: DISCOVERY opens with a huge battle between Starfleet and the Klingons. The series' creators wanted to show that the Klingon houses were fractured and all operated different kinds of ship, so they told the art department to come up with lots of different designs. John Dickenson designed the Batlh class to be a Klingon troop transport – something we knew must exist but had never seen. The Eaglemoss model is approximately 8" (20 cm) long.
