A Time Lord, best friend

The Doctor‚ robotic dog K9 is easily one of the series most popular companions. ¬†Eaglemoss developed but never released a 1:4.5 scale version of K9. The figurine, which stands 16.5 cm tall, shows the Mark I version of K9, which made its debut in The Invisible Enemy and proved so popular that he ended up travelling with Tom Baker‚ the Fourth Doctor for the next four years. He was nearly given his own spin off with Sarah-Jane. He even returned in 2006 to help the Tenth Doctor fight the Krillitane.

The Melkur was said to be a source of great evil, kept sealed in a sacred grove. In truth, it was a camouflaged form for the Master’s TARDIS, which he used to ensnare and manipulate the heir to the Keeper of Traken – and through her, the entire planet! Withered and dying, crippled by his lack of regenerations, the Master hoped to use the powers of the Keeper of Traken to grant himself a new life. His desperate search for immortality came to a climax at the end of this story when he claimed the body of Tremas – played by the iconic Anthony Ainley.

Figures in this collectable series are frozen in a 'Moment in Time' pose which is detailed on the collectors box.

The Melkur is shown as it appears in the 1981 Fourth Doctor classic adventure 'The Keeper of the Traken'.

Fully BBC licensed and approved merchandise.
