In 2380 it encountered an entity that fed on its power systems until it had absorbed the entire ship. Dayton and her crew were rescued by a team from the U.S.S. Cerritos, who beamed them away before the entity merged with the Rubidoux. "The U.S.S. Defiant NCC-74205 was Starfleet’s first true warship. It was originally developed to counter the threat from the Borg, but it was considered to be overpowered and unstable, so the project was abandoned. It was revived after Benjamin Sisko made first contact with the Dominion and realized how dangerous they were. The Defiant was assigned to Deep Space 9 and, thanks to an agreement with the Romulans, it was fitted with a cloaking device. The Alkesh was a mid-sized vessel that the Goa’uld used as a troop transport and as a bomber. It was capable of traveling faster than light and could enter a planet’s atmosphere, where it was often used to mount “bombing” raids using plasma charges. When it was used as a troop transport, the Jaffa were deployed using transportation rings. The model is based on the original CG asset used on the show and is 7.25” (18.5 cm) long. 

La Sirena is a Kaplan F17 speed freighter that was operated by Cristóbal Rios, before it was handed on to Raffi Musiker. It was the ship that took Picard to the Borg artifact, where he rescued Soji Asha.

In the movie, Daniel Jackson (played by James Spader) discovers that the ancient Egyptians were enslaved by a race of powerful aliens, known as the Goa'uld System Lords. Their ships were shaped like giant pyramids that open up to launch waves of airborne fighters.

Our model of the Pyramid was sculpted by Ed Giddings with careful reference to the original model that was used to film the visual effects in the movie. Even the individual hieroglyphs have been reproduced in relief.

"The Eagle freighters appear in the first episode of Space 1999 “Breakaway”, when the Alphans try to move radioactive waste containers to prevent a massive explosion. The freighters were fitted with winches, and with magnetic grapplers that could lift the radioactive waste containers out of their silos and transport them across the lunar surface. However, the attempt to move the containers was a failure and a massive explosion forced the moon out of Earth’s orbit and into deep space. While it was under the command of Captain Durango, the Merced was assigned to work with the U.S.S. Cerritos to recover an ancient generation ship. Durango’s desire to take command led to both ships being “infected” with a terraforming fluid. The Cerritos managed to reverse the effects, but the Merced was badly damaged. Luckily, its crew were beamed on to a safe area of the generation ship. The Invictus was one of the most powerful warships the Empire ever built. It was an extraordinary eight kilometers across, with a crew of 300,000. It had a jump drive and was heavily armed. It was lost in action when its jump drive malfunctioned and it then spent more than a thousand years jumping from place to place.

It was eventually discovered by the Anacreons, who forced a team from Foundation, including Salvor Hardin and Hugo Crast, to salvage it. The Foundation took control of the Invictus and reverse engineered much of its technology to create their whisper ships. The Invictus was eventually destroyed in a battle with the Empire in orbit around Terminus when Cleon XVII attacked the Foundation.

In the original 1978 show, the Battlestar Galactica was an advanced vessel that led the Colonial fleet. It had a crew of 500 and carried 75 vipers. The ship was designed by concept artist Ralph McQuarrie who started on the new TV show after working on Star Wars. The brief was to create an aircraft carrier and he gave the ship twin pods on outriggers that provided the vipers with a runway they could land on. The model is just over 10.5 inches (27 cm) long.

Limited to 350 pieces, the Battlestar Columbia die-cast model from the original Battlestar Galactica measures 10.5 inches and is shipping now.

The U.S.S. Buran was a 23rd-century Cardenas-class starship that was commanded by Captain Lorca. During the early months of the Federation-Klingon war it was involved in a transporter accident that brought the Mirror version of Lorca to the Prime Universe. Another Cardenas-class ship, the U.S.S. Yeager NCC-1347 fought at the Battle at the Binary Stars.
