In 1977 STAR TREK was due to return to small screens with a brand new TV show, which would have featured an updated version of the Enterprise and a brand-new version of the shuttlecraft, which was designed by the Enterprise's original designer Matt Jefferies. The shuttle was much aerodynamic than its predecessor and was designed for atmospheric flight. Jefferies' new shuttle never appeared on screen, but Eaglemoss made this model based on the original drawings. The Eaglemoss model is 5.1" (13 cm) long.
