At the end of the two-part TNG story 'Reunification' Spock, Picard and Data expose a Romulan plan to invade Vulcan in stolen Vulcan ships, which the Romulans then destroy to avoid their capture. The ships were designed by Rick Sternbach, who took elements of the design from the ring ship and the Vulcan long-range shuttle both of which were from STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE. The model is 5.3" (13.5 cm) long.
