Stargate Universe
This is a replica of the gate that was found on the Destiny in Stargate Universe. This gate was more primitive than the versions found in the Milky Way Galaxy and had a much shorter range. The glyphs on this gate lit up as they were dialled, and the model shows the address for Earth. The gate had been left unused for thousands of years after the crew left the Destiny, but was revived by the team from Earth, who used it to gather supplies and explore the universe.
The replica gate measures 9.25 inches (23.5 cm) across. It is made of polystone and comes with a separate display base that carries the SGU logo. Master Replicas has carefully reproduced every glyph on the gate, which was based on a digital model that was supplied by MGM.
The Starship Destiny was built by the Ancients and launched more than fifty million years ago. Its role: to seed stargates and investigate a mysterious message hidden in the fabric of the universe. What happened to the ship and her crew is a mystery. The arrival of an expedition from Earth, who activated the the ship’s stargate in 2009, provided the Destiny with a new crew — and a new mission.
The model is made of die-cast and measures 8.75 inches (22 cm) from front to back.
Nine chevrons from home, and your desk finally looks the part.
This extra-large desk mat puts the Ancient starship Destiny across your workspace - hull schematics, systems readouts and glowing Ancient interface panels, printed edge to edge in that unmistakable deep-space blue. It sits under your keyboard and your mouse, so the whole setup reads as one console.
Why you'll want one:
* Full Destiny schematic - the ship rendered as a technical blueprint, with plan, profile and detail views, exactly as the Ancients would have logged her
* Ancient interface design - dials, gauges, status blocks and Ancient numerals, inspired by the control interfaces of Stargate Universe
* Extra large: 31.25"" x 11.5"" - covers keyboard, mouse and the mug you shouldn't have put there
* Smooth, fast mousing surface - consistent glide for work or gaming, with no snagging at the edges
* Stitched edges - won't fray or peel at the corners, however hard you type
* Non-slip rubber back - stays exactly where you put it, all day
* Sharp, saturated print - the fine schematic linework and Ancient text stay crisp, not muddy
Most Stargate collectibles live on a shelf. This one you actually use - every day, for hours, under your hands. It's the quiet kind of fandom: nobody on the video call spots it, but you know what you're flying. A proper piece of Stargate on your desk for less than the price of a boxset!
A genuinely good gift for the Stargate fan who already owns the Puddle Jumper and the ZPM, and an easy first buy for anyone building a Stargate desk setup.

"Explore Destiny like Eli did. This replica Kino is digitally modelled from screen references to capture its intricate mechanical detail, which is one of the trickiest designs in Stargate Universe to reproduce.
Eli Wallace (David Blue) found the Kinos aboard the Ancient ship Destiny in Season 1, Episode 2, ""Air, Part 2"". These small floating reconnaissance drones are flown remotely with a Kino remote. The crew used them to film, scout unexplored parts of the ship and check dangerous environments, and they appear throughout the series.
Why you'll love it:
Digitally modelled from screen references for accuracy
Multi-part cast resin with a hand-finished internal ball
Metallic-style paint finish that captures the look of Ancient technology
