The stun gun measures 4.33” (11 cm) from back to front and just over 5” (13 cm) from top to bottom, while the Commlock is just under 8” (20 cm) long, and 2” (5 cm) wide. The original stun guns were carried by Moonbase security guards and stored in racks on the Eagles. In the show they had different settings that included stunning, disintegrating and cutting. The Commlocks were clipped over the crew member’s belt. They were used to communicate with other Alphans, to open doors, and to pinpoint the wearer’s location. "
