The original Cylon Raider is one of Battlestar Galactica's most iconic designs. The ships were typically seen in groups of three in combat with the vipers, with shots cutting away to the Cylon pilots inside. The Raider was designed by Ralph McQuarrie who gave it a disc-shape like the larger baseship and added twin guns on either side. The model has a wingspan of 7.5"  (19 cm).
